Indian steel walking stick or mace ?

I don't think we are looking at a weapon here. Perhaps better suited to the Miscellania Forum.

Thanks David. Yes, it does not have a blade and could only really be used as a short club/truncheon if necessary. Over to Miscellania.

It reminds me a bit of the Chinese "iron ruler" , especially with that end bolster.
