Hi Rivkin,

Thanks for sharing that with us, that was really interesting. Georgian arms and armour is another one of those things about which I am shamefully ignorant. It is also proof of how innacurate the term "Islamic Arms and Armour" can sometimes be. Despite their similarity to Persian and Turkish weapons and Armour the wearers and many of the makers of these items are not Muslim. Maybe we need a new term like "Near-Eastern, Indian and Caucasian", only less cumbersome.
