Jep, very similar! Crocodiles are and were common all over Africa.

I wonder if there is a missing shoe part to this spear? It is not made to throw like a dart or a javelin type spear and most have some kind of shoe like a spike, knob or rectangular shoe.

I received the spear in this form.
Perhaps this is a dart, or perhaps a later alteration, I don’t know, which is why I asked for advice.

Also monitor lizards are also common all over Africa!
