			Good morning dear members,

Here a kindjal dagger I just received. Seems not bad but it is maybe recent work. I wonder if it is really a good one and where it can come from and his age... The blade has a really strong and long tip I dont know where it can come from ( Caucasus ?...) I saw no stamp/signature but it must ne silver or silver alloy Kind regards |

			Seems a good one...

![]() There is not always a silver stamp or maker's mark as this similar caucasian kindjal from Czerny's. $$ If you want to be sure, you can test it with a silver acid kit or go to a jeweller... PS: maybe an etching of the blade could reveal something ( cf fullers...) |

There is nothing wrong with this Kindjal. All parts are typical for Dagestan, probably made in the early 20th century. Nice piece.
