what are the dimensions ?

I am curious as I see some similarities with the Dutch klewangs ...
but then again I am no expert in this subject

No real relationship aside from general western influence regarding hilts with guards (of very different construction).

The clipped blade in Wayne's example (a relatively rare variant) considerably predates the Dutch klewang.
