			I always wanted to visit this museum. Maybe out of coincidence, did you see Karabela-hilted weapons there and took some pictues of them too? Below i post such a weapon if you arent familiar with that. Thanks again

	What surprises me is the gaudy decoration on some of these pieces, extreme to the point that they almost resemble the exaggerated swords from popular fiction!  |

			Yes of course! Apart of the western armoury there is famous Tuskisch Zimmer there with plenty of weapons from Ottomans but for my eye Poland and Hungary also. Eventually two of Polish kings were from Dresden and both admire Polish costume (so the arms also).
