To sum up, we can say that: 1. the place of origin of this weapon is Northern India. 2. this weapon does not have its own name and is not a type of any particular weapon. Rather, it is a hybrid. |

Is the blade made from flat stock or is it V shaped? Scabbard tip looks like the British 1860p bayonet in design. The old leather strap does not convince me this piece is old.
