Thanks, very nice piece with a complex pamor pattern for a Bugis blade!
I am also curious to know where the scabbard & hilt were made (Sulawesi, Bali/ Lombok, or Java or Sumatra?). Sorry for my hasty reaction but many kris sellers or even auction houses do not show the blade and it makes me mad as how could you appraise somebody by just seeing his clothes?  Regards |

Thank you Antony. The quality of the embossed silver scabbard is much better than the pieces which I saw in Ujung Pandang some 25 years ago, and this is why I asked you about its origin.
