A pair of Tebu Daggers

I think the textile core of the handle of the smaller dagger was originally braided with narrow leather straps, not the "reptilian covering". The dagger seems to be relatively old and I am of the opinion (but maybe I am mistaken) that the straps was older original method. Nevertheless, the textile seems to be rather clean to be of the same age as the blade. But this is only guess.
