Default Cojang with a „quickdraw-scabbard“ to share

This cojang has a scabbard that is open at the back. Easily to get it out. Some pictures with the very detailed painting. If somebody will be able to translate, that will be very welcome.

Best Thomas

Wow! that is impressive.

This is probably the first cojang I see with a scabbard that appears to be from the same period as the cojang.
Other examples that I have seen had hardwood scabbards or very plain scabbards. but never this light wood with the typical fine decorations

Wonderfull. I would love to know what the inscritpions mean.

Best regards,
Willem

Hello Thomas,

Very unusual scabbard with detailed carving work - a really good grab. Please try to avoid it getting wet!

I'm looking forward to seeing a translation. I've notified our certified forumite translator...

Could you slide the ring so that the whole inscription becomes visible, please?

Regards,
Kai

Here the full pic. Don‘t worry Kai. I dried the table before in that area carefully.

Thanks for your help
