Well Henk, I spend a lot of time studying kukri & perhaps will publish some my research & conclusians in the futre. So your picture is just another little titbit in the picture of evidence..
The style looks rather like some kukris apparently provinaced to the Indian mutiny period. But I am certain from known examples that the design has been round for much longer than that. {Obviously earlier designs can be copied at a later date. Although often other give aways often show up.} I tend to regard it as probably a transitional stage between the lambendh & the Sirupati styles. Spiral |

Okay spiral, that's clear. But i suppose the picture of the kukri in my book is the same as in your book isn't it?
