Default Nice to read Spiral !

Right now I am challenging my little very old red male cat with my Panawal special from The Kukuri house (very nice piece I must say):

"Are you begging for food again? Are you? Come on then! Come on then ! Make my day ! "

Good one Ernesto!

Tim, I cant vouch for the auther. Ive never met him.

But a 25% variable on your tooth woud take it to over 5 inches. It just means your tiger tooth isnt the biggest of tigers.

After all he says the tooth on a necklace is 5 inches, he didnt say the length exposed above the gum line!

Also according to. Australia zoo.com

"The canine teeth of a full grown tiger can reach five inches (including the root). Although Singha’s teeth are only small at this stage, they will become one of the world's greatest tools for killing. "

link.

But I have a headless Tiger skin that ways over 30lb, i think its teeth would have been going on 5+inches easily {including root.}. Its enourmous.

Gurkhas can be 5tf 2in Many people are 6ft6in. There teeth size will vary to.

Spiral,

I own two versions of the book you quoted. It is in dutch and published around 1875. The way of engaging the tiger by the gurkha's you wrote is also in my books.

I cann't discover if those two versions are translations of the english version. But they probably are.

Hello Henk,

Thats most informative, Thankyou! I wish I could read Dutch!

Is there any possibility of obtaining of taking & emailing me scans of the relevant drawings/ingravings from your books? They would be most interesting for me to see.

My email is spiraltwista@aol.com

Either way, many thanks,

Spiral

Henk, if there is any way you could scan those illustrations and post them on the forum I know we would all find them highly informative. I don't think there would be any copyright problem, given the age of the source material. Thanks.
