I think the iron is origini al I'm not sure about the bone handle. Maybe a restore. In Italy I find a lot, mountains of reproductions.

HI
I always taught the graduations were to do with targeting the cannon see sketch i threw together (sorry about the image ) if the gunner sighted along a number on the Dagger then that could use as a v basic inclinometer? just my taughts, nice item by the way Regards Ken |
