Hello Alexish,
This style of naga seems to be peculiar to the Minangkabau region. I attach an enlarged pic of the sorsoran. Regards |

Hello Alexish,
Makmur Arts is an antique shop in Bukittinggi which I visited more than 20 years ago, if you are connected to them in any way please be advised that this is against the rules of this Forum. Regards |

Alexish, do you currently own the keris that you started this thread with or are these photos from an auction site?

Dear David,
these photos are from commercial sites, but these items have been confirmed to be sold several years ago. I understand that this would be in compliance with the forum rules. |

I hereby attach images to compare the Minangkabau Keirs Naga motif with the naga motifs of different keris cultures.
I have one question about the last image with the 4 Naga Javanese Keris. Is this a traditional Pakem or a new Kamardikan design? |
