I have no information on it and the seller is a dealer specialized in militaria (he also had 2 spear points possibly Thai and a Vietnamese Dao, the rest being European militaria).
(Fortunately, it was not an auction and I was one of the first to see the announcement! ) ![]() The length of the blade is 37cm. |

Thanks a lot for your comments! I, for one, wasn't necessarily suggesting Banten. ![]() However, it is certainly interesting to have such an early blade with (apparently) its complete "original" fittings, even if these are of secondary importance... Quote:

The hilt is solidly fixed, and as it's split at the base, I didn't dare to force it to remove it for fear of breaking it.
