yours is a karih for Sumatra. An uncommon side-weapon used by Minangkabau people.

Probably a local name for this badek-like weapon. The difference, badek is single-edged whilst the karih is double-edged with some other minor difference.

I have tried to find more info on the Karih about place of origin etc.
