I must say i find these NW Native daggers absolutely fascinating...and we have talked about them here on a number of occasions. Just search our archives for threads on "Tlingit".

Very nice examples of NW Pacific knives. It always amazes me how these Native Americans could work iron so precisely--the fullers in particular are well done. Thanks for posting these and adding to our Archives. Ian. |

A follow up from Colin's visit. Nice club and wooden amour with really fabulous Killer Whale helmet which must have looked spectacular when complete.
