Mounts look to be 20th century.

The blade I think is not that similar to the example linked from my site. The blade profile is dramatically different.

I think this one is locally made and probably early 20th century. Are there any blade marks?

If this is the turn of the 20th century, then it might have been part of the Mahdist movement of that time.

Unlikely as I think it's definitely later than that and its not from Sudan.

No I can recognize locally made blade. It's an import but i don't know from where... The marks are not easy to see, but yes they are some.

Do you have the sword in hand. If so post more detailed photos. I've handled quite a few, including the same single fuller and flat profile, it was locally made. But it's your sword... Look for grind marks in the fuller.
