Thanks Sajen ; I would guess gold(and or brass), and silver, but this is only a guess.The blade feels like,it resembles(to me), a Dyak mandau, but the motifs look like it could be a Moro Mindanao piece.I think it is one of those cross cultural pieces(how's that for covering my bases ?).

Drack2k, Thank you very much for sharing photos of your new acquisitions as they are each beautiful pieces in their own right. I must also say that I am also in agreement with Detlef on not only his opinion on these swords, but with the idea that each of these deserve their own separate thread.
