Detlef, that one in the thread mentioned is the same, but I did not own it then, and actually I forgot it had already been posted then. The scabbard had the horn chape rebuilt, and added the metal band. I am sure some would disagree, but I preferred the hilt polished to better appreciate its original appearance and materials used. |

the restore job of the scabbard is very nicely done. I like the beautiful grain at the cross piece from the scabbard.
