Arsen, good comment about the "flaw", this was the reason I thought both are from India, made in different qualities. Syria could be an option, but the steel type points more towards India.

Could be Indian, because of the style of coftgari work, but if you search "Syrian Kindjal" on Google: https://www.google.com/search?q=Syri..._AUIBigB&dpr=1
You will see that most of those have the same ring. So maybe an Insian copy of a Syrian Kindjal
