If they are truly stones i would think they are carnelians.

The color is more like coral, if it is a natural material.

I am not sure what these are. I don't think they are Carnelians. I have a large mid-20th Jordanian dagger with three Carnelians and these are something different. I think they are a stone of some type. One if missing in the back which shows how they were set. They remind me of the red stones you see in those Algerian daggers/swords with the dramatically curved blades.
