			Hi Rajesh,

I confirm. And your Powder flask is from Oman or Yemen. For sure, South Arabia. Best, Kubur |

I can't answer really to your question. Maybe other members would. The Ottomans used the powder flasks available in their Empire. Some of them show strong Caucasian influences, others are related to North Africa... For me the typical ottoman gunpowder flasks are the heart shape wooden ones and the others are the silver rococo style in crescent shape. They are really connected to Turkey and the Balkans. It's just my personal thoughts. Best, Kubur |

The same types i have in mind. I think the first type is the authentic ottoman type and the second type use in balkan area ,caucasus and other part of empire.( I think the second photo is a type from greece or from northern balkans.) Best Stelios |

			Hi Kubur,

Already posted here http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=19761 but for your benefit here they are again. Surely you are not serious about the term Indo/Arab This means to collectors exactly what it says "cross cultural India Arabia".You may prefer Spanisho Chinese but to me that means cross cultural Spanish Chinese which is NOT the origin of these.
