Jim McDougall Arms Historian Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Route 66 Posts: 10,664	I wanted to note that the excellent example of court sword posted by Norman in #14 on its blade has the blade motif, using these kinds of magic/occult motif in what is often termed the 'Caissignard' style, which originated or was typical in Nantes, France.
