Salaams Kubur...This style is of the monumental scabbard Jambia of Yemen...I would imagine the age to be mid to late 20th Century and as you say some top damage is apparent. The colour of the metal suggests a strong percentage of added non ferrous metals in the mixture where more copper and pot metal may have been added ...

Larger clear pictures, including detail shots, may be in your interest here Kuber, Trying to appraise from a thumb nail size photo leaves room for many errors to be made.
