Default Central European Battle Axe

Dear friends,

let me introduce to you a gift I received today from a friend - a Central European battle axe found couple of years ago close to my hometown.

Blade length is 9 cm.

My guess would be it dates between 9th and 12th century. But I am not an expert in this field... therefore any comments and suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks and all the best!

Matus
