Thumbs up Another Swede

I drove to Provincetown early this morning to see the Whaler Charles W. Morgan as she was visiting there for the weekend . Unfortunately she was anchored out in the roadstead .
Something even nicer was also visiting and tied up alongside the wharf .
A Pinnace of 1625 vintage faithfully reproduced .
I am in love .

Yes, Michael, I must admit I'm a bit of a lurker these days! But I do very much enjoy reading all of the posts from folks (rather like a daily newspaper, but much more interesting- )

Rick! you and me both! I went all the way to Boston on business and immediately went to see the U.S.S. Constitution. I did view her upper decks, but i had arrived too late to go below- . left the next day to come home. I hope to see some of the truly great wrecks (The Mary Rose, Vasa, etc) someday. Thanks for posting this.
