I just replied to your post on the other thread.
Hope that helps. Perhpas we should stay in only one thread, what do you say?

Like I said, we must see what collectors have to make a choice, the older the better. That means showing what they are willing to contribute.

It was me who mentioned the materials and shields. The idea was to provide a cultural perspective in which the culture of the swords serves as a background. I don't think it needs to be a martial perspective.
But I would suggest we concentrate on weapons as first priority and on the cultural background on the second priority. But it does not mean you should refrain from sending them.

Copyright. We at the Museum can ask for the copyright on everyone's behalf if a photo, email and publishing house address is provided to us along with the book title, ISBN and page number. This will be a better way.
