Hello Semar,

agree, nice pedang. And I think that it is some decades older as 1950. I am unsure from where it is, Cirebon?, Sumatra?
The "U" near the handle seems indeed inserted, pamor tambal, maybe a piece from an much older blade.

the blade style looks like paut nyere.. what's the length of the blade?
