I can't help with the translation, since it is in Arabic. However I noticed something, in the picture of the floral cartouche, it seems that it is later work and is covering another much older cartouche, and the color of the text seems the same as the newer cartouche. Is that what you see as well?

Boy!!!. I've owned this sword for almost twenty years and until it was pointed out, I didn't realize that this cartouche covered another earlier one. What can I do to get better images of this inscription?..........Dave.
