I would go for the sword shortened blade version. The handle could be period home made; it doesn't look like the work of a sword smith

Thanks guys. I'd like to think it was a cutlass but I think Fernando is probably right.
Anyone else out there recognize the blade type? Is the long flat ricasso an indicator of any model? CC. |
