I too am unaware of this "policy" but I am sure glad you posted the extra images.

The blade and fittings are in an exceptional state of preservation.

Is the leather work a new restoration or old but in an exceptional state of preservation....enough of my questions, back to yours!!!

Thanks guys. The leather has, indeed, been restored. All else is original to the sword.
