Again a series of great pictures of a fascinating subject. In a way, these old defence works and what they represented or more correctly, supressed, is what led to my interest in Ethnic weapons. The wars and conflicts fought between Imperial powers and indigenous populations caught my imagination at a young age, and these dramatic structures made the words of history dance from the pages of many a dusty books.
