Thanks for the input
Scabbard shows age and use,well worn on one side quess where it was against the body ,nice brown oxidation color on brass plate and lots of digs and dents.If the wear on the scabbard is where it was held to the body would make the user a lefty? |

Salaams ~ When I was in Kabul I spent some time looking at several hundred daggers in Chicken Street ~ its famous souk area... though the twenty or so that I collected took months to clear ..something I will not attempt to do again ! Anyway some of the daggers here pictured were superb; probably Elephant tusk and horn with excellent blades. It was about minus 5 in the shop at the time so rather brisk to say the least..It gave the saying "cold steel" another meaning ! I'm sorry I don't have any more photos of that escapade..
