The drive cannot be copied. My concern is that the Wallace will not replace a broken drive beyond a couple of weeks after one's purchased it.

I was sad to see the thread had been moved without notice; it cannot be found now except when looking for 'swap'.
It was not meant to be a swap-related topic because I do not own the drive and/or book. It also contained a lot of information I collected from the Wallace site that I wished to receive comments on.

I have the usb stick for a while. the quality and quantity per weapon, the ability to zoom down to the smallest detail. make it the best reference work by far so far!!!
it is possible for each weapon to see what is written about in 100 years, and how sometimes the minds chamged over the time by the various curators of the wallace collection.

a must have for each interested in AA.

May I ask:

What about early firearms: matchlocks and wheellocks - are the insides of lock mechanisms depicted?

How many images per item on average does the stick contain?


The reason why I hesitate is the fact that there is almost no plain, 'military'-type stuff in the Wallace which interests me most, and many of their highly decorated items are composite (at best) or otherwise altered.

yes you should definitely buy this! you will be amazed.
about 10-15 high res pictures per weapon, including back of the lock and marks.

it contains a lot of stuff of your interest.
archery 38, long guns 63, Pistoles 76, artillery accesoiries (powderflasks, cartridge boxes etc.)
