Nice piece Detlef. I love the pade's.
I wished it was a dayak weapon so I could keep one... ;-) I think I have to look at epray again more often... Congratulations with this fine piece, Maurice |

Today I received the pade. All in all I am satisfied with my purchase, special by the price I paid for. The horn part of the handle is bursted maybe from corrosion of the tang and the "fiber" wrapping at the handle isn't original and maybe recent. But the lamination of the blade is very nice and the blade is 11 mm thick at the handle.
Here some additional pictures. |
