Just remember people, nothing goes to waste. If the loser is not dead at the end of the fight (the most common result) his neck is immediatly wrung and he is in a pot that night.

I am amazed that Cocks can swing blades of this apparent size with killing force . ![]() |

Yes I know the feeling, one of my dogs likes to fight even from breaking the fights up I am really pumped up but I still feel humans deliberatly setting animals against each other is a bit off . Tim

Hi Tim,
I've got to agree with you. I'm pro-hunting, but I'm a bit queasy about cock fighting and against dog fighting (mostly because fighting dogs are so dangerous outside the ring). Just a typical american, I guess. That said---come on, people! On this website, we do celebrate the implements of war! One of the fundamental paradoxes of weaponry is that beauty and horror can coexist, even in the same blade. Warfare is both honorable and horrible. How many of us would like to have a "survivor" hanging our wallor a "give an old warrior an honorable retirement" in our collections? Why is so different when we force roosters to do it for our entertainment? Fearn |
