My searches have only found books concentrating on Ancient Greece. I know Anthony Tirri touches on the subject in his book 'Islamic Weapons' but I was looking for something a little more in-depth.

My thanks in advance,

Salaams runjeet. I dont know if there is anything in the Forum Bibliography. I have to say how difficult it would be to suddenly begin in the 17thC with Greek weapons ~ I say that because of the almost fanatical links from Greek on to Abbasid ( at times it was as if the Abbasid Caliphs were trying to emulate many of the Greek traditions ) and the passage of weapon technology design and style on through the Abbasid to following Dynasties like Mameluke, Seljuk and so on.
