Agree that the pictures very good and there are shown some unique pieces but the description is a little bit unfruitful.

I've got my copy. It's meant as a book of art and not a technical book on kris hilts. Mauro Magliani and Barbara Piovan's photography are excellent. The vivid clarity of the pieces looked as though I'm seeing the hilts in my hands. There's much to be learnt from the motifs and characteristics of the hilts. Many unique forms. Looking at it from an art perspective, a good book, imho. I love it.
