Probably the only non-muslim weapon I really wanted.

Stunning and unique piece!

I see the under bidder is a member of our community, perhaps he'll be prepared to share more?

Unhappy Here is a similar Khukuri

Gav I wasn't even close but, felt it's rarity deserved a go. I'm reminded of this one. http://www.oriental-arms.com/item.php?id=4373. Sorry at the moment having just switched to Win 7 I'm unable to add a photo. Steve

Indeed Archer, well worth a go, I would have bid too but a couple of Pata and tribal purchases left me short this week.
Another however pushed the envelope to the enth degree and nearly got it, I'd be interested to know more on his thoughts....still a bargain too in my opinion.
I have of course left him un-named in case he wished to remain anon.

wow what a kukri.

the seller seems to think the fittings are brass? But surely looks to be gold.

Whats up with the blade along the spine? has a style i havent seen before, the pics arent clear but looks like almost liked its double edged?

one of a kind no doubt, would love to hear what spiral thinks of this one?
