I think this is the Wallace collection sword.. or one closely resembling it. This is the original style for the Omani Long Kattara now designated as 8th Century A.D. in its exported and frozen style on a trade blade possibly made(or adorned) in Yemen. See my # 58 Omani Swords ; Origins. I have acquired two in basic form and wondered what they would look like restored to Iconic standard..Your photo shows me the answer. Regards Ibrahiim al Balooshi.
