I try to find quality first and hope the age is there also, but as you know age is a very difficult thing to place unless it has been in someone's collection for an authenticable (is that a word?) length of time. You don't see these often with the dagger. Will let you know more when I get the shipment. |

I agree,I think that the leather looks like its in very good condition and not too old.Still a very nice takouba,and an interesting dagger too.
I have heard that they were still making and possibly wearing these only a few years ago. |
