Hi Dom,
I looked at it but I could not figure out anything. When it is arabic there is little hope unless it is a verse from the Quran or hadith which I know.

Well i cant read it. The first word seems like "La" which means "No" so it could be many things.
the inscription is unreadable and seems that it suffered losses. Beautiful pieces and if i ever seen the sword i will let you know Dom. I remember seeing one on SF a while ago... |

after some refurbishing ... mainly on scabbard
renovations incomplete, the blade would need a polishing severe too many black spots, and the metal is severely attacked but I have neither the tools, and more particularly the qualities to undertake such a job I'd wait to go to Istanbul, in default of, Damascus, if that last country is still suffering à + Dom |
