Sword from the lesser Sunda islands (Timor?)

Hello Kai,

thank you for your elaborate comment. Like you I think that this sword is from a island West from Tanimbar while I think that the carving at the sheath mouth is typical for a South Moluccas island.
The ferrule is from iron formerly silver (?) plated.
