Some of the images you've posted above are from Astvatsaturyan, don't recognize the others however. Can you cite the books from which the others came-- i.e. those of the 2 djigits? Thanks, Ham |

Good looking pieces of armour. Its nice to know that there are modern armourers out there who make authentic looking Oriental/Eastern European armours as well as the usual Western European stuff. The Kulah Khud style helmet looks particularly nice.

They are from the catalogue of Russian State History museum, well most of them. The painting I think is a part of Gagarin's cycle (he made pictures of all "caucasian" types). |
