thanks for the translation, zifir! since the last figure is missing, we can just assume that the date would be between (hijiri calendar) 1220 to 1229, which would translate to gregorian calendar 1805 to 1813. is that correct?
as for the second phrase "sene Agha Ahmed sahib ????? amel-i"..., what would that be in english?
is that pretty common to have the name like that erased? i just find it odd that the first inscription is still intact, and the other one looks as if it was tampered on purpose.
