Yes, Battara,
I hope I can do as Michel and Rasjid did, take photos of the Tropenmuseum collections soon... Hoping too, that the Knaud kris is still exhibited there

Default KNAUD Kris

Thanks, David,

I found interesting story on this interesting Charles Knaud's kris... The images of "wayang" in the bottom part of the blade reminds me to some reliefs of Sukuh and Cetho temples in the eastern part of Solo, Central Java. The specific wayang reliefs dated back to the end of Majapahit era...

thank you every body for these links. I found so many beautifull pictures. there are so many great collection in Tropenmuseum Amsterdam. fantastic!!!
