Congratualtions on a most deserved promotion, Fernando! Fortunately, the level of participation here tends to be such that moderating is rarely really necessary, but it is always nice to be recognized for your extraordinary contributions in both quantity and quality.

Regards,
Teodor

Thank you all, Gentlemen,
As Teodor well puts it, the discussions in this forum are generally so highly leveled that, the need for moderation is indeed rather remote … and so it should keep.
I sincerly hope that some of the tools i am now sharing with the EAAF moderators team will get rusty, due to their use not being needed.
This is a bit like the contribution that can be given by a referee to a match; the least you have to interfere, the better things are running.
So i sincerely expect to play the invisible role, my posts still being the usually thematic ones.
I can’t go, however, without saying that i am at everyone’s disposal for any questions you come across and are within my reach.
Fernando

Teodor is correct, but i think that he is probably unaware of the other behind the scenes tasks assigned to new moderators.....
.....um, Nando, my dishes are beginning to pile up just a bit....

If that is an atempt to frighten me, you have surely scored .
Do we have a smilie for panic?

Belated congratulations! I mod on a couple other boards (one requires active moderation, while the other is fairly calm, like it is here), so I understand the ups and downs inherent to it. I'm sure you'll do fine
