I recently acquired a collection of knives. Mixed in with the older (WWII) military patterns, there were a couple ethnographic examples, including this African dagger.
The hilt is leather wrapped over wood. The scabbard is formed leather. The blade measures approx. 12.25 inches / 31cm, with an OAL of 17.75 inches / 45cm.
