I think corrado was referring to the 'irregular' rim folding but this, only for itself, would not be an issue ... i guess

The weight you give is a regular one for these things.
If this were a genuine 'pear stalk' cabasset, would date from around 1600's, and could come from Spain, Italy or Britain.
